A recent example of Bob’s Jobs work – installation of foundation vents

A homeowner in Virginia Beach contacted us about replacing his home’s foundation vents – those louvered, rectangular pieces you see that surround the crawl space or foundation of a house.  The existing ones were original to the home, which was built around 1990, and they were made of wood.  They had suffered damage from the usual exposure to the weather:

The homeowner chose to replace them with PVC plastic vents which won’t rot like the wooden ones do.  Bob brought them home to his workshop, where he primed them before installing them.  Installation was easily accomplished with a rubber mallet and some caulking around the edges.  This simple upgrade to the home significantly improved the exterior appearance:

Take a look at your home’s foundation vents.  If they, too, could use replacing, contact us at Bob’s Jobs, 757-318-0484 – this fairly simple upgrade can be had at a very reasonable price.
